enjoyable readReally liked this book。 Was enjoying it from the very beginning and liked how the characters developed as well as the overall plot for the book and the series。 Look forward to the next book。

Not for meThe book starts slow with standard relocation to alternate world fair。 It loses me completely when the MC meets elves who disclose the genocide of humans in the alternate world。 Yes， GENOCIDE， which is decidedly not my favorite way to give depth to a storyline or world build。 I abandoned the story in disgust at this point。
